訂製項圈

收到訂製的項圈也近三週了
決定來寫一下我訂製的奇幻旅程
也提供對客訂項圈有興趣的人參考

前情提要：
我是找黑先生訂的，文末會附上他們的粉專資訊
對方是個英國人，因此內文有很多一開始就用英文寫的溝通訊息，我也懶得翻XD
加上對方使用的語言非常精準明確，很多我只抓了大概意思
覺得會翻的歪掉，就不要鬧了

高中畢業後英文9剩下國中程度了，鼻要戰我

一直以來項圈都是非常戳到我的點的物件，以前很偶爾起心動念的時候就會看一下

還只是有點想圈犬犬的時候就滑了一下
其實現在要挑好看的項圈，訂製不一定是最好的選項
畢竟訂製很看做工、荷包，溝通也費時費力

工廠做出的東西經常可以經濟又美觀。

選擇訂製的主要原因是看了許多市售項圈
包含各種國內外通路/平台，覺得都不符合我的期待與需求

我意思是在外觀、功能、情境上的需要跟想要。

我當時整理的需要大概是這樣的－－
1. 想要項圈平時戴起來也不奇怪，所以希望配件可拆
2. 喜歡鈴鐺，但一直戴著鈴鐺太吵了，我要你吵就吵，不要你吵就不可以。
(但鈴鐺叮叮叮得過去就超萌阿)
(好像在說4我的4我的)
3. 喜歡名牌
4. 也喜歡啾啾 (蝴蝶結)

想了想，那就訂製吧

主流的材質應該是尼龍、皮革跟金屬，後兩者比較有機會客訂
我自己是選擇皮革的，原因是輕、配戴相對舒適，還有我喜歡皮革 (重點)

訂製的管道不是我這篇的重點，圈內有一些工匠，pinkoi也有皮件的創作者，或是網路上都可以找到一些資訊
我當時都看過作品來考慮的
至於原因就不表列了

下面直接進溝通的過程跟我的結論
懶得看溝通過程的可以略過，但我覺得溝通過程才是重點XD

有點懶，可能會整理得挺流水帳的
我會做一些刪減，但語言門檻加上整理偷懶對話仍然會偏長

撇除開場白那些，我一開始是這樣提的

I want to know if you can help me with follow details, and the charge

I want to order a collar and a leash.
I have tried to paint what I imagined.
(I'll try my best to describe, but it might not clear enough, feel free to
tell me)

My needs :

Colour-
leather collar: white
leather bow: black
bell: silver

1) Comfortable and suitable for long-time wear
2) Detachable Button for Bow (and maybe bell and brand)
I can find bell and brand by myself, but I want a leather bow
3) Can be added with leash (both front and back)

Leash

Colour-
leather handle: white
chain: silver

1) Leather handle,a narrow one is better.
2) Hooked metal chain

我有先畫好圖，比較容易讓對方理解

中間有進一步作了一些描述
(前面對方有提到他覺得我的想法很細節，他需要再看一下回覆我)

I hope that the collar can be wear in daily life.
So there are some detachable accessories
I have think about how to make more effective benefits on that.

I am a female dom , I want to order this collar for my sub.
He is a boy
For my personal preference and gender, there are some details above. I hope
to use a narrow design.
Contains narrow stitches or handles

Bow is my personal hobby

button is something like this , so I can add bow, ring, bell on it (or maybe
brand)

我會選擇進一步描述我的需求，跟這個需求的原因
讓對方可以想像我想要的感覺是怎樣的
然後我覺得找圖描述蠻重要的，當要訂製一個具體的物件的時候，非常幫助雙方溝通
(尤其你講的英文不一定是他講的英文的時候XD)

如果不想收到一個跟你需求跟想像不符的東西，首先得描述你的需求的14
剪頭髮找設計師也4

頭髮會再長，但項圈不會，而我在這件事情上沒什麼彈性XD
不過我覺得，選了你喜歡的工匠/設計師/創作者，溝通清楚後也要有接受成果的彈性
當然，這次的訂製，我超級滿意才有這篇XD

另外，使用不熟悉的語言並且在不熟悉的領域(第一次訂製)
我會選擇先把最重要的需求先講，細節後補，不然會一下丟出太多資訊

這邊對方的回覆我覺得對我非常受用

OK,
I've taken a look at your ideas and I have the following feedback.

1) I don't recommend black leather, it is a difficult dye to work with and
even after it is 'sealed', it will shed color for a while.
2) White can be done, but it is a paint, not a dye.  So it is prone to
cracking and could peel off at points of bending and flexing.
3) I don't have ready access to bells at his time.
4) I have found that 'comfortable' wear depends on the person wearing it more
that the leather itself.
5) A detachable bow is new, the detachable part seems ok (depending on the
attachment type), but I've not made a bow with leather before, so I'll need
to learn that.
6) Adding a leash on the  front and back will require a metal ring of some
kind to attach the leash too, with the thin design you want and all of the
different stuff you want to put onto the collar, there may not be enough
space to put everything.
7) what is a hooked chain?

per your drawings, you have on the front of the collar a 'button' (a metal
snap is a better description, but may not be good for the job).
This button does the job of holding either a ...
1) metal ring
2) leather bow
3) bell
4) name tag

a 'button' will not work for holding a metal ring in place, as soon as you
attach the leash to the metal ring and pull, the force will either detach the
'button' or bend the metal 'button' out of shape.
Changeable items can be done, but no force should be applied to them.

ps. as an alternative to black leather, I recommend dark brown leather, once
finished it can look very close to black, and is a more stable color

Instead of a ‘button’ or snap, i think a peg could work better

受用的理由主要是他能夠提供我具體的經驗，包含製作上的可行性、未來使用的可能情形或侷限。
所以我做了顏色上的調整，並依他的建議改用peg去掛掛件

在這件事情上，有個很重要的是，落在具體的討論裡面

and have the following feedback:

First of all, I am not familiar with leather goods and English, I may use
less precise words, I hope you can understand.

I have confirm the words you used and make sure we are discussing the same
thing.

1)Color
A dark brown leather will be a great idea, and considering the limitations of
white, I think the dark brown collar and the white bow are more suitable.
so the color might be:
collar: dark brown
bow: white
leash : dark brown

2) I can find bell, name tag by myself, it's fine.
3) I have some idea about bow, plz check the pic and link I found.

4) I can understand the limit of thin design, do you mean the wide of collar?
My request about the thin design is only 2 detail:
．Narrow stitch
line and line are close
(plz check the pic I find)

But this is not a big problem, I just think it looks better like this.
This is not necessary if there are restrictions on execution or use.

I can understand you say:

If use a peg instead of a button, it can work?

I am not sure if the above information helps solve the problem,let me know

另外，我做了比照圖描述我對於外觀的期待
這來自我在訂製項圈前其實已經看了大量的項圈
知道我喜歡/不喜歡什麼，覺得什麼好看/不好看，什麼設計對我來說實用/不實用

然後講不清楚喜歡甚麼，講清楚不喜歡甚麼蠻實在的 (Hard limit (不對

我也希望可以再次確認那些問題可以被解決/不能被解決
比如鈴鐺我就可以自己搞定，那如果扣子的設計換成peg，我會好奇可以做到甚麼程度、需不需要備案

我自己一開始有想過受力的問題，所以提了想要前後都有扣環可拉，若前面真的不行受力，純裝飾我也可以接受
我跟他確認了費用的問題，並再次描述了這個想法，也找了圖給他

這次我使用的是他的作品，我覺得這樣去解釋蠻效率的
他做得出來一次肯定做得出來第二次，也比較熟悉好溝通

其他內容就不附了，瑣碎的確認完細項後 (寬度、縫線/金屬的顏色等)
需要提供頸圍，我還是再確認了一次要量哪裡XD

得到的資訊是量哪裡好像都可以，希望項圈待在哪就量哪
(我最後是量中間)
不過量頸圍的部分要提醒大家，脖子用力跟不用力的時候，其實有落差
我的sub落差甚至到2-3公分

最後取的是最大的那個頸圍，當然有做一般可以調整的打洞
但實際上我收到使用的時候，好像還是不是那麼fit一點

對他而言經常略緊，但主人喜歡緊一點 (x
好喇確實是我自己覺得下一格不大緊 (難搞
但這就很看人，加上上述的用力放鬆落差，要達到非常貼可能還要一點運氣或經驗

接下來過了段時間就收到項圈了，中間的確認基本上不是重點
下面進結論

這次的經驗自己的感想是這些－－
1. 詳列自己的需求，有想法比較好討論，不論功能或外觀上，也可以從使用情境出發
2. 用具體的描述，畫圖、找圖溝通比較容易
3. 衡量清楚製作與使用上的可能與不可能，沒有經驗請跟有經驗的對象諮詢
4. 由大而小，逐步地丟資訊比較好討論
5. 了解訂製的作品不是從你的腦袋3D列印下來的，你需要溝通，也要信任你找的工匠，理解他可能有慣用的工具、作法或取得容易的材料；尊重那個彈性，也積極詢問、確認

我自己的態度比較接近，工匠是跟你一起解決問題的人，你才知道你的問題是甚麼
然後我必須說，黑先生是個很棒的隊友，能夠給出很細膩周到並且務實的建議
最後的solution真的很讓人滿意，非常開心有這次的訂製經驗

拿到項圈的時候真的蠻感動的
有種 哇，變出來了！的感覺 >____<

曬一下成果 (終於)

鈴鐺是我自己買配件弄得欸嘿

對了，收到成品後跟想像中比較不一樣的地方有兩個
1. 原本想像中是一個主配件(蝴蝶結+圈圈)可以掛三個小配件
小配件我可以自己處理

但其實後來收到四個配件(蝴蝶結+三個可以搭配小配件的小配件)
好繞XD
中間有確認過，但其實我沒有意會到對方理解到的是這個意思

但不是個大問題，邏輯也差不多～

2. 我喜歡的牽繩柄其實要更窄一點
我覺得可以提供準確的單位數據(ex.公分)會更幫助溝通
但其實我當時也對很具體的幾公分我覺得好看沒概念，就沒另外溝通

我猜對方應該照項圈的寬度設定的

成品我是非常喜歡的，這邊講一下來提醒溝通的超多可能
真的建議多想、多問、多表達

為甚麼會知道他用力跟不用力的頸圍差很多呢
因為我在飛客的舞台區把他吊起來量XD
然後用筆寫在臉跟手上

不過犬犬手上的沒擦就一起去餐廳吃飯我內心小宇宙嗷嗷嗷 <3

我原本就想量tight跟relax的頸圍，因為有玩繩縛
我想他會有一些時間需要戴著項圈待在繩子上
然後我猜可能有點落差
